What you will need:
- 1 16 ounce can of chickpeas
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 5 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of tahini sauce
- Salt to taste
- Paprika, cumin seeds, spring onions, onions, tomatoes, parsley to garnish.
Method:
- Open can and pour chickpeas in a strainer and rinse to get rid of preserved liquid.
- In a food processor or blender mix garlic and chickpeas. Add water as needed.
- Add tahini, lemon juice and salt and blend until all ingredients have combined to create a smooth mixture.
- Pour into a bowl and drizzle olive oil on top and garnish with various veggies.
- Serve with pita chips or toasted pita or bread.
